The University of Dallas (UD) is a private, Catholic college on 744 sections of land in Irving, a suburb only west of Dallas. The college nearly looks like a human sciences school in that it has set up a Core Curriculum to protect that each of understudy is getting an in number interdisciplinary premise for his or her instruction. The present understudy to-staff proportion is 11-to-one and the normal class size is seventeen understudies—figures which likewise contrast well and those of conventional four-year universities. 

All understudies less than 21 years old who are not wedded or military veterans are required to live on grounds.
